SAT, ACT, GRE, LSAT, GMAT, MCAT AND OTHER TEST ACCOMMODATIONS

Our clients often call with questions about how to obtain accommodations, such as extra time, while taking standardized tests such as the SATs or GREs. Over the years, requesting such accommodations has evolved into a process and procedure that test publishers such as ETS (Educational Testing Service, publisher of the SATs and many other tests) have established guidelines and policies for. There are clear requirements for documenting the presence of a diagnosed learning disorder or other impairment that would potentially qualify one for such accommodations. One of the things that is required is a recently completed, comprehensive assessment (e.g., within the last 3 years). The testing board reviews each case to determine if accommodations will be granted. We are familiar with this process and will support each individual in receiving accommodations when appropriate.
