INDEPENDENT SCHOOLS, BOARDING SCHOOLS
New England, and in particular Massachusetts, has more Boarding Schools than anywhere in the U.S., (and probably the world), per capita. Since our inception in 1966, Powell & Wagner Associates has been intimately connected to this community and has provided services that are aligned with the mission and needs of many of these unique schools. We understand both the types of challenges and opportunities that are available through this type of education, and are often in a particularly well-informed and empathetic position to understand and support students and families participating in this community. We are equipped to help with the assessment or consulting needs of each student as he or she is in the process of entering an independent/boarding school, when leaving or transitioning to a new school, when trying to decide between a public or private school placement, or in determining school may be the best fit.
